Dining and dashing !

As I said in my earlier post- my computer crashed! (literally one of the worst days of my life- everything got erased! :( ) With that being said, for now, I have nowhere to upload pictures, so all I can post for you is compilations of my life through my iPhone! 

After being sick for over a week with a sinus infection and fever I was barely eating! I had no appetite at all, so of course as soon as I could handle food I had to make something tasty! This is garlic naan bread pizza with banana peppers, grilled chicken, my Nonno's homemade tomato sauce and arugula with balsamic dressing ontop! Mmmm

One of my best friends is going to study abroad in Australia from February until August (lucky bitch)! I am so jealous! She is going to have the time of her life and come back so tanned while I am stuck in this little city covered in snow :( As our last bang before she left for her adventure, we went out to sushi at Spoon and Fork! It was delicious! I don't think I have ever gone for all you can eat sushi and didn't waddle my way through the door on my way out! 

For Christmas this year my awesome roommate bought me a cupcake recipe book and I have been baking from it non stop! With one of my best friends from home's birthday coming up I had to experiment with some new cupcakes! After all that delicious sushi my friends and I went back to my place to whip up a batch of home made cupcakes for out besties birthday! 

This had to be the coolest thing ever! I had never played with, let alone made from scratch modelling chocolate! It was so fun to play with and the coolest thing to feel it thicken up so fast as I mixed the chocolate with the syrup!

Happy Birthday Girl!

My friend Brody is in a program at my school (HAFA) where one of his projects was to create a menu and cook it for anyone who made a reservation at the restaurant! With that being said we had to go have a taste of his fantastic food! It was very well done and I'm so proud! I had potato, leek and bacon soup (my favourite), and a leek and mushroom quiche with miso spinach salad! Even though it was only 11:00 we had to take advantage of buying a beer to go with our meal too hehe 

Typical action of my roommate and I! Minj has been dying to get another tattoo and so after finally deciding on exactly what she wanted we ran over to the tattoo parlour and got it done! It was so fast (I swear it only took 15 minutes to pay, draw out and tattoo) and now she has 2 awesome new tattoo's on the sides of her feet! She took it like a champ and was even taking pictures of the tattoo artist working herself! 

My latest obsession is with Buddha's and I recently bought a third statue to put in my room! It finally came and I can't wait to set it up! ... fully in love!
