It took so long to make this ice rink.. the snow on top was so hard! Then when my friends and I came up for reading week we pretty much had to remake it because so much new snow had fallen and hardened!
Just hanging out in the middle of the lake. I was terrified to step out this far I kept feeling like it would snap at any minute and I'd sink right through.
We were so far out you can barely even see our cottage. It was so amazing to be standing in the middle of a frozen lake rather than sitting in floating in a boat!
and the hockey games begin... on our failure of an ice rink! At least we tried :)
My used and abused skates. I've had these things for years and probably use them once a year! I definitely need to make more of an effort to go skating this year.
Family breakfasts, lunches and dinner everyday! It was so much fun having so many of us all sit down for lovely meals everyday! Thanks for such a great week guys!
We have to do this again ASAP! love you guys! Many crazy things happened in the 4 day bender we had at bella vista point! Can't wait to see what happens next time we all come up!
