Sunday Funday

I was no feeling well at all this entire weekend, which was great since I had a midterm on Tuesday! Of course, instead of studying I procrastinated as usual, but it was a good break since I wouldn't have been able to concentrate on my work anyways. 

By now you probably know that I love DIY and finding new things to do on tumblr or pinterest! With that being said a few months ago my friend mentioned to me that she saw this picture on pinterest that was of the "friends" TV show logo with a bunch of pictures beneath it of the persons friends. I thought it was the cutest idea and since we don't really have any pictures in our house of our friends from Guelph we decided to make a little black and white shrine haha!

Just a little taste...

Just a few things from my winter break at work. Pretty much just stacks on stacks on stacks of everything! Plus, shrimp towers have to be the biggest pain in the ass. Half the time you are just about finished building it and then all of a sudden BAM! they all fall down. I have fortunately learned the tricks on how to master it!

I actually got to take my girlie out on a nice Birthday dinner this year... hopefully it made up for the disaster I was last year:( This girl has been in my life through good and bad (mostly bad) and we've stuck it out! Love her to bits! 

My family and I have been attempting to get our Italian citizenship for a while now! It takes forever to get all the proper documents! We went back 3 times before we finally got accepted and as a celebration we went out for Sushi! haha clearly we are so Italian :) 

The second and third picture of sushi are from the best sushi restaurant in Guelph called Sushi Choice! I have posted the spicy vegetable roll before (i get it every time I can't help it) but the butterfish (the third pic) is also awesome! I've never been a big fan of the raw fish, but I'm starting to expand my sushi choices! 

Finally the last picture of sushi is my first attempt at making sushi that has the rice on the outside. My roommate clearly knows my obsession, because she bought me a sushi mat for Christmas! I've been putting it to good use. I haven't gotten to the professional extent of the sushi in the earlier pictures, but hopefully soon enough I will. 

Shakespeare's Arms has some pretty awesome sandwiches. I got a turkey and brie sandwich (obviously.. brie will be the death of me! I love it too much) 

Pig roast!

I'm sorry I haven't posted much in a while. I have been very busy with family stuff and getting settled back at school!

Here's a few pictures directed towards my diary of a foodie. They are from my summer at work when we had a pig roast! It was the first time I had ever see the full process! It was awesome and so delicious !

SLR on the slopes!

The views from all parts of the slopes in Mont Tremblant are so stunning I couldn't attempt to capture it all through my iPhone. Therefore, I took the most ballsy move of my life and went boarding with my SLR strapped to my neck! These are a few of the shots! Absolutely amazing! I love the look of trees covered in snow! We had such great conditions even though it was -14 degrees Celsius! Enjoy

So pumped for my first time on the slopes this winter!
